Diggory Gual

Diggory Gual is a professional hider. He hides in mailboxes, under porches, and in other similar locations, waiting for someone to happen upon his hiding place. When that happens, he shouts out something like "Congratulations! You win! You found me!" and gives the person finding him a prize, which could be monetary, could be candy, or could, for instance, be a toaster. He then scuttles off to hide somewhere else.

Apparently, Diggory somehow makes a living at this. He has a designated donation box outside the community center where those who feel so inclined can leave money to allow him to support himself and to buy the prizes he gives out. For some reason, there are enough residents who appreciate Diggory's ability to make his unusual choice of vocation viable.
